My overall stay was pretty good. I didn’t think the rooms were as clean as I would have liked and I feel like they put a lot of emphasize on the decor in the lobby but not much inside the rooms. However, one of the best parts of this staycation is the neighborhood surrounding the Box House Hotel.  There are a lot of adorable bakeries, restaurants and local pizza shops around.  My favorites bakery in all of nyc is:  Bakeri (AMAZING—- AMAZING BREAD, EGGS AND BISCUITS!!) and Lobster Joint.  (which had some delicious lobster rolls!) 

In honor of my favorite bakery in NYC, here are some photos of Bakeri and our favorite foods. I love this place so much I make my husband bring me here every year on my birthday now. Hehe!
