My Experience:

First impression, kind of a sketch neighborhood but amazing looking building. Architecture outside is interesting. Kind of looks like a ton of branches woven together in a dark tree like manner. Lobby design is beautiful. Love the dark edgy colors with a random pop of mint green and deep red and golds. The chairs don’t seem like the most comfortable to sit in, their couches look like something out of an Ikea catalog- but it looks nice?

They were really slow with our checkin so she comped our breakfast for the next morning- super nice!! Their iced latte from the cafe is amazing. Something about the milk or espresso made me love it!! Sweetest barista lady too.

Room: love the minimal design.  Read a lot of yelp reviews hating on it, but personally like it.  I love the exposed concrete and industrial vibe of the room, and even the ghetto backdrop of the city from the wire-y balcony.  The beds don’t look super comfortable, but they were great! I had a wonderful night of sleep!

Winning: their TUBS! I specifically picked the room with the standalone tub ( one of my Dream items to have when i finally own my own place) and they delivered! The tub is from Victoria + Albert and the design is fiiiiiine.  It doesn’t take much to gain my obsession but i am now super obsessssed!!

Everything was exceptionally clean and well maintained.  The amenities were minimal but you could call to get anything you needed.  The service wasn't the best, we called for some extra necessities but they either forgot or were super slow about it.

We ordered pizza from Sac's Place in Astoria and they delivered with no issues.  The pizza was TO DIE FOR.

The next morning we woke up to our complimentary breakfast and it was decent.  Your basic bacon, eggs and potato hash.  Overall it was a nice stay!
